As an adoptive dad, I know the options for building your family can seem overwhelming. You need a trusted advisor to help you step by step through the process. I will listen to your concerns and work with you to find the best way for you to build your family. And I can help you safeguard your family with proper planning for the future.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in History from Northwestern University, I earned a law degree from the American University Washington College of Law. I am licensed to practice law in New York, Illinois, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia. I concentrate my practice on adoption, reproductive law, and estate planning.
I sit on the Board of Directors of the National LGBT Bar Association’s Foundation, and currently serve as Board Treasurer. I also volunteer at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center’s LGBTQ Brooklyn Legal Assistance Project. I am a member of the American Bar Association Family Law Section Committees on Adoption and Assisted Reproductive Technology, the New York City Bar, the Brooklyn Bar Association and LeGaL – the LGBT Bar Association of Greater NY.
I have been recognized by my peers as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2011, 2012 and 2013.
